It is with great pleasure that Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Australia and its Bailli Delegue, Mr. Norman Harrison, plus Maitre Rôtisseur Lee Ceechin from The Old Salt Bush Restaurant would like to invite you to the second National Weekend and the first event for our Broken Hill outback odyssey. Beginning with a Cocktail Party out at the Mundi Mundi Plains to watch the sunset where we get a real sense of the vastness of the outback. Our bus will take us on a scenic half an hour journey north of Broken Hill to the lookout. Bring along your camera and immerse yourself in the breathtaking vista that stretches endlessly into the horizon, where the sky meets the earth in a mesmerising display of colours, especially at sunset and is the ideal outdoor venue for our cocktail party under the stars. You can enjoy the champagne, G&T’s with canapes while watching the sun set across the plains. We will then retreat to the Old Salt Bush Restaurant to continue the party!

Join us for the Gala Dinner on the old Broken Hill Railway Station Platform which is located within the Sulphide Street Railway and Museum. We will be dining under the station awning where the trains of yesterday once huffed and puffed and transported goods and passengers from 1905 to 1970. Maitre Rôtisseur, Lee Ceechin and her team will be presenting a bush tucker inspired five course dinner commencing with champagne and canapes under the stars. We are looking forward to members being entertained and enjoying the people, food, wines and venue of our outback odyssey!
